Another fighter-bomber variant was the FB Mk XVIII (sometimes known as the Tsetse) of which 27 were made by Mc voluntary conversion. These were equipped with a 57 mm cannon Molins, a 6-pound boy anti-tank gun modified with a self-loader to allow both the semi or fully automatic fire, in the nose, along with two of 0303 (7.7 mm) machine guns watching. The Air Ministry initially suspected that this variant would not work, but the drill is testing proven otherwise. Although the gun provided the mosquito with more firepower against sending to compete against the submarines, which requires constant and vulnerable management approach to aim and fire the weapon, making more efficient rockets, especially since mosquitoes without pounds 6 does not suffer the weight penalty to the gun.
