No ultrasonic insect repellents work of earwigs?

I want a way to prevent or kill earwigs enter our house. Something that is not harmful.

Not knowing if they work or not, but I had earwigs in the kitchen and after connecting on three of the repellent (one in the pantry, one in the kitchen and one in the pit) disappeared and that was three years ago. The same repellents are still working and no errors, but a casual cricket.
