How I can repair the varnish on a hardwood floor?

Hi, thanks for reading! Basically, we have hardwood floors in the living room and a bottle insect repellent to divide management and contents have dissolved a lot of patches, making it sticky resin like material. The resin material club has had to release because it sticks to everything and shows no sign of drying. Acccomodation rent and live in our home inspection lord of the land is due soon. Is there any way to fix it? I really can not afford to strip and then entire floor, but veins are lost about an inch wide and 5 inches each long ... Any suggestions or experiences? Is it possible to re-paint over it? Is there any way to know what varnish you used before? All help appreciated ... this could end up costing us a lot of money ...

Here's what to do. Take a 120 grit sand paper to each separation sander or palm and lightly go over the surface. You are not trying to remove the finish, only the collar so a new layer of bonds. Then vacuum the floor very well. Then wipe the floor petroleum distillates, either by hand or sprinkle some powder in a micro fiber mop. Then take some oil-based polyurethane and apply with a lambswool applicator lamb. The key is to put fine for uniform application.
