How bad are the mosquitoes in Perth?

We are thinking of migrating to Perth, but my DH is allergic to mosquito bites, the bad are mosquitoes in Perth? What areas of Perth are the most affected? I stay by the sea would be safer, but DH read that is bad about to the salt and presumably they are near the coast. We are visiting in July, but I doubt we'll have a realistic view of how it was in the summer

If you do not live near the river or lake, you'll be fine. Along the coast is good because Perth is the third windiest city in the world and the mosquitoes do not like wind. Summer Not the worst season. Just before winter, they feed and prepare for the cold weather. Avoid being outdoors stay near sunset, when they are most active.
