Can I use butane in a "Skeeter Vac that is designed to propane?

I got to use in Mexico, where propane is not available. Do I need a different regulator? I asked the manufacturer, but all they could say is that this may void the warranty. I think they had that protected from liability.

Can you change it a magnet for mosquitoes? Information on the website below says this: In order to keep your Mosquito Magnet running (and killing blood-sucking parasites), you have to feed it. Natural gas can not and should not be used. Most of the traps Mosquito Magnet Mosquito run on propane, although any combination of propane and butane can be used (including pure butane).
