Mozambique holidays may not be the first thing you think when you are looking for a beachfront property, but could do much worse than you can see the Mozambique Channel, and Benguerra Island home to luxury house called Benguerra Lodge. This is a beachfront property with style, plus a true boutique hotel, but in the wilderness of an island on the high sea at the edge of the Indian Ocean.
Benguerra Lodge is small, very intimate, with four different types of accommodation in the bungalows, through the Cabanas, to the houses of the village.
There are two bungalows in the trees, less than 15 meters from the beach with sea views. They have no windows or doors to take advantage the maximum sea breeze. They can be drawn blinds, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and bathroom with shower.
The cabins are right on the beach with king size bed, bathroom with bath and private terrace with jacuzzi / pool, deck chairs, hammocks, mini bar and tea and coffee. The cottages are particularly romantic and elegant.
Decadent private Las Casitas is a real home away from home with a king bed and mosquito net, a nice living room with a large wooden terrace and pool, plus an outdoor dining gazebo. This is a romantic haven on the beach.
Finally, the exclusive Villa, luxurious, and very personal, which is the top of the range of accommodation. There are two double rooms with mosquito nets and fans. Bathroom with bath and shower, lounge and dining room. You will have your personal chef, private wooden deck with pool, private garden and beach access.
There is a main house on Benguerra, which consists of large reception area and gift shop, lounge and extensive bar and dining areas with large terraces and indoor and outdoor seating around in.
Added to this is a pool and a small spa, but with the beach and the turquoise sea, you need a pool!
Meals in the main is not unnatural of fresh seafood, so shrimp, crabs, crayfish and enjoy regularly. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style, with a dinner menu. Not because of the colonial history of Mozambique be more than a bit of Portuguese influence in the flavors, which are also a cross between Africans and Arabs.
Lunch and dinner are movable feasts with new quotas to eat every day.
There are a number of very good and obvious reasons for choosing Benguerra Lodge for your vacation in Mozambique.
The first of these would be the situation, being on the beach in a big long coat and even at low tide, access to deep water is possible, and this is not the case in East Africa.
Beguerra hostel is a true, intimate, and is ideal for a romantic getaway at the beach, with a very good personal relationship results. Benguerra Lodge is also all included, which includes all drinks and food, and you will not find a beachfront property in a more pristine Benguerra Island.
