What are chiggers? What are the signs and symptoms are present? My two dogs go to play outside ...?
This summer all have been itching and chewing themselves endlessly. Every summer we get them veterinary flea medication every month. So I know it is not fleas. My large dog has a couple of little bumps that crust, a bit like a scab on a mosquito bite, from the rear. They just do not stop itching ... I realized that was before the a / c vent and does not seem so itchy, and in fact can relax for a minute. Dogs can get chiggers? Never heard of them until just tonight and thought I visit. How I can know if they do? What can you do about it? Simple home remedies, or is it something requires veterinary attention? I have a broken heart .. and can not bear to see go crazy. Please help. Any other thoughts or ideas why they are itching madly?! (We also buy special $ 15 oatmeal shampoo made for dry skin and irratated, and did almost nothing) Thanks for your help !!!!! PS> --- Are they contagious? Can I extend my cats?
get some old used motor oil and rub it all over the pooch is doing to pigs
