Do you have insect repellent repel moths?

I know that butterflies are insects, but I'm not sure if insect repellent (the kind you wear yourself) ALL insect repellent or insect pests such as mosquitoes alone. I need to know because I will be working on a butterfly garden for my university soon and I kind want to use insect repellent, so I'm not covered with insect bites after the project is finished .... but I do not want to repel the moths.

mosquitoes find their food of the gases emitted by your body .. carbon dioxide we breathe out, but especially lactic acid gases from the skin ... products containing DEET or lotions such as Skin So Soft cover and mask these chemicals they emit. So these will not affect the butterfly excursion.
