Generic creams, oils, which repel mosquitoes?

It's time shorts outside BBQs and mosquitoes. R there are lotions that repel insects? Not a fan of repellent-(I like the smell of bugspray I have supersensitive / reactive skin). I think that put Johnson baby oil (lavender line) in the arms and legs keeps mosquitoes away. Am I imagining this? Do you know of other generic lotions or creams which also appears to do this?

I also use no chemicals .. For years, I do the following No perfume or deodorant when you are out of season error A spray bottle filled with temperature water and add 2-3 tablespoons of Avon Skin Soft bath oil "..
