ingrown hair help please?

I have the worst problem with ingrown hairs on the legs, I am seriously considering laser hair removal when you can afford. Until then, I have to get with shaving. My legs look horrible. I even had my doctor asked if I was bit by a lot mosquitoes. Bite, my legs are red and irritated from scratching. I've even scratched so much that I broke the skin open on multiple occasions. I have a lot of blows, all of them are like a grain of pus, but it still looks bad. I had to change razors, as do those who use more. I've been using disposable skin Venus sensitive (they have three leaves). I tried single sheet, double and triple blade razor, no luck. I always use a shaving cream. I tried liquid soaps with salicylic acid, exfoliating, moisturizing the crap out of my legs, as do the treatments for African Americans with ingrown hair problems and nothing works. Please help me!

Sounds like you have folliculitis. It is caused by an infection - you could try using something like Neosporin around your legs for a couple of weeks, but may after having to see a doctor for some antibiotics. If I'm correct in my assumption, this can be cured once the bacteria dies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folliculitis (I know another girl with the same problem and this was what I had.)
